The tragic fate of Mustafa Shokay, a patriot who fought for the freedom of Alash and fought for the name of Turkestan, who devoted his conscious life to the cause of the unity of one Turkic people, is conveyed in the play through his beloved wife Maria.
Maria Yakovlevna, being a famous opera singer, dedicated her whole life to the fate of her wrestler husband and honored his soul with the words “My Mustafa” until her last breath.
